Antony W. Dnes

Antony W. Dnes, Ph.D., Professor of Economics at the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise and Director of the Center for Free Enterprise, Florida Southern College, is a native of the United Kingdom. Dr. Dnes completed his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Edinburgh and held earlier appointments at the University of St Andrews, University of Edinburgh, and Virginia Tech. He is a member of the Editorial Board of International Review of Law & Economics and was elected Academic Director of the Western Economics Association from 2008 to 2010. Dr. Dnes is the Editor-in-Chief of the scholarly journal Managerial & Decision Economics, the author of several books and more than 40 journal articles. He likes to promote the idea that free enterprise is the best way to enhance the welfare of the ordinary person.
