Ed Gehringer

Ed Gehringer is a professor of computer science at NC State University, where he has taught since 1984. Prior to that, he was a research associate and lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University. He held a Fulbright postdoctoral research fellowship at Monash University in Australia. He received his Ph.D. from Purdue University and has authored or co-authored nearly 200 peer-reviewed publications. His main research area is the application of natural language processing to assessment in education.
