Harvey Klehr is Andrew Mellon Professor of Politics and History and former chairman of the Political Science Department at Emory University where he has taught since 1971. He is the author or editor of thirteen books. His newest book is Spies: The Rise and Fall of the KGB in America, published by Yale University Press.
Dr. Klehr has received more than twenty grants for his research, in addition to numerous teaching awards. He served as a member of the National Council on the Humanities from 2004-2010.
