Stephanie Smith

Stephanie Smith, wife of Dalton Smith and mother of seven children, is a political advocate with 25 years of professional experience herding both children and politicians. She is a cum laude graduate of Auburn University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a master’s degree in public administration. Her experience includes being the director of governmental affairs for Regions Financial Corporation, president of the Opelika Chamber of Commerce, assistant director and deputy director of finance for the State of Alabama, and principal of a grassroots political advocacy group, the Thatcher Coalition. She serves on the board of directors for Big Oak Ranch, the board of academic advisors for CLT, and the advisory board of Mission Increase. She leads the Alabama Civics Alliance and is a consistent conservative voice in Alabama politics. She is currently the president and CEO of the Alabama Policy Institute.
