Raleigh, NC—The James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal is excited to announce the release of its new podcast on higher education policy, “Eye on Academia.” The first episode is available now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Podbean.
Hosted by senior fellow Jay Schalin, “Eye on Academia” will feature spirited discussion amongst a panel of higher education policy experts on each episode. As Schalin states in the podcast’s trailer, “The Martin Center’s commentary is oriented toward finding solutions to problems, not just complaining about them.”
Schalin continues, “Academia is where many of our most important ideas come from. If you don’t like the way the nation is heading—politically, culturally, educationally, and so on—chances are you have academia to thank, at least in part.” Although “Eye on Academia” may focus on higher education policy, its content can be appreciated by anyone who is concerned about the state of American society. Additionally, the podcast provides a new way to access Martin Center opinions and research at the listener’s convenience.
