David C. Phillips

David C. Phillips has over twenty years of experience teaching English at the college level. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College in 2000 before shifting his focus to literature. He completed his postgraduate studies at the University of North Carolina, specializing in twentieth-century American and French literature, and obtained both an MA and PhD in comparative literature. Over the course of his career, he has taught writing and literature courses in the University of North Carolina and North Carolina Community College systems. Currently, he works as a full-time English instructor, focusing primarily on college writing. He resides in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he lives happily with his wife and their two daughters.
