Richard Redding

Richard E. Redding, J.D., Ph.D., is the vice chancellor for graduate education and Wang-Fradkin Professor of Law, Psychology and Education at Chapman University in Orange, CA. He was previously a professor at Villanova University, Drexel University, and the University of Virginia.

He received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Virginia, his M.S. degree from Vanderbilt University, and his law degree from Washington and Lee University. Dr. Redding has published widely in scientific and legal journals, serves on a number of editorial boards, and is an elected fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Psychological
Science, and the American Bar Foundation.
